“The Wild and the Sacred”
Aurora Ancient Music is Liz Thompson. Amity Baker, and Susan Comen – three of Vermont’s finest singers. On June 18, they will perform a concert of medieval and new songs for the earth. Music will include chants of the medieval mystic Hildegard von Bingen; the complex harmonies of the English late medieval composer John Dunstable; processional songs from 13th century France; and new works by Vermont’s Don Jamison and Aurora’s Liz Thompson.
